Le chef de l\u2019Etat Faure Gnassingb\u00e9 \u00e9tait ce 07 janvier 2025 \u00e0 la Place de l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance (Black Star Square) d\u2019Accra o\u00f9 il a pris part \u00e0 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie solennelle de prestation de serment et d\u2019investiture du nouveau pr\u00e9sident ghan\u00e9en, John Dramani Mahama, \u00e9lu le 07 d\u00e9cembre dernier.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le dirigeant togolais a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 de vive voix son homologue ghan\u00e9en et lui a souhait\u00e9 plein succ\u00e8s dans ses nouvelles charges \u00e0 la t\u00eate de son pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faure Gnassingb\u00e9 avait \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s pour cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, plusieurs autres dirigeants africains parmi lesquels Bola Tinubu du Nig\u00e9ria et Paul Kagam\u00e9 du Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devant le Parlement et la Cour supr\u00eame, John Dramani Mahama a jur\u00e9 solennellement de respecter et de d\u00e9fendre la Constitution de la R\u00e9publique du Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant de recevoir les attributs du pouvoir, symboles de la pl\u00e9nitude de sa gouvernance, il s\u2019est engag\u00e9 \u00e0 gouverner dans la justice et l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger les droits et les libert\u00e9s de tous les citoyens et promouvoir le bien-\u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il a dans son intervention promis de relever les d\u00e9fis \u00e9conomiques, sociaux et s\u00e9curitaires dans un contexte r\u00e9gional marqu\u00e9 par des menaces terroristes et d\u2019extr\u00e9misme violent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Par ailleurs, le nouveau Pr\u00e9sident ghan\u00e9en a remerci\u00e9 les dirigeants qui ont fait le d\u00e9placement d\u2019Accra, pour rehausser l\u2019\u00e9clat de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui confirme l\u2019ancrage d\u00e9mocratique au Ghana. Il a promis de coop\u00e9rer avec tous les Etats \u00e9pris de paix pour une prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
