Au regard de l’acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de l’urbanisation et aux d\u00e9fis environnementaux contemporains, la promotion de l’urbanisme durable devient n\u00e9cessaire. <\/strong>Au Togo, l<\/strong>‘ann\u00e9e 2026 verra de nouveaux progr\u00e8s en la mati\u00e8re et \u00e9galement en termes de logement social.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’urbanisme durable repose avant tout sur une vision anticipatrice. Il ne s’agit plus seulement d’\u00e9tendre la ville, mais de l’organiser avec m\u00e9thode. Les sch\u00e9mas directeurs d’am\u00e9nagement int\u00e8grent d\u00e9sormais des consid\u00e9rations environnementales, la gestion rationnelle du foncier et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d’espaces publics fonctionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parmi les initiatives \u00e0 prendre se trouvent en effet la finalisation des \u00e9tudes de faisabilit\u00e9 et les travaux pr\u00e9paratoires pour l’am\u00e9nagement d’une zone d’habitat planifi\u00e9 sur le site de Kpom\u00e9-Dalav\u00e9, d’une superficie de 1 177 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autres actions planifi\u00e9es par le gouvernement : doter 13 communes de plans locaux d’urbanisme. Ce sont Oti-Sud 1, Dankpen 1, Haho 1, Vo 2, Blitta 1, Est-Mono 1, Amou 2, Tchaoudjo 2, Tchamba 1, Kozah 2, Zio 3, M\u00f4 2 et Agou 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une autre mesure que le pays compte d\u00e9ployer est d’assurer le contr\u00f4le du respect des normes de construction par l’instruction des demandes de permis de construire ; d’\u00e9laborer et de vulgariser la politique de r\u00e9forme fonci\u00e8re ; de r\u00e9ceptionner partiellement les travaux d’am\u00e9nagement, d’assainissement et de bitumage de 14,34 km de rues urbaines \u00e0 Lom\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans la capitale Lom\u00e9, il s\u2019agira de poursuivre les travaux d’am\u00e9nagement, d’assainissement et de bitumage de 9,43 km \u00e0 Aflao-Sagbado, ainsi que les travaux d’assainissement de la zone Ago\u00e8-Houmbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est \u00e9galement question d’achever les travaux de drainage urbain et de voirie \u00e0 Dapaong, de collecter et d’\u00e9vacuer les d\u00e9chets \u00e0 la d\u00e9charge finale d’Ak\u00e9p\u00e9 dans le Grand Lom\u00e9, d’entretenir les ouvrages d’assainissement et les bassins de r\u00e9tention d’eaux pluviales dans le Grand Lom\u00e9, de produire et de promouvoir les mat\u00e9riaux locaux de construction, et de cr\u00e9er et rendre op\u00e9rationnel l’Institut g\u00e9ographique national du Togo (IGNT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les investissements \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser sont importants. In fine, ils permettront d’am\u00e9liorer le r\u00e9seau routier, de moderniser les syst\u00e8mes d’assainissement, de d\u00e9velopper l’\u00e9clairage public et de mieux structurer les villes, en les rendant plus s\u00fbres et plus attractives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’urbanisme durable implique par ailleurs une gouvernance inclusive. La pr\u00e9servation des espaces verts et la protection des zones sensibles figurent \u00e9galement parmi les priorit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
