En sa qualit\u00e9 de Gouverneur du Togo aupr\u00e8s de la Banque Mondiale, le ministre-secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Pr\u00e9sidence du Conseil Mme Sandra Johnson s\u2019est entretenu avec Ousmane Diagana, Vice-pr\u00e9sident de la Banque Mondiale pour l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et du Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019\u00e9change de haut niveau est intervenu \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des Assembl\u00e9es Annuelles du Fonds Mon\u00e9taire International (FMI) et du Groupe de la Banque Mondiale, qui se tiennent \u00e0 Washington du 13 au 18 octobre 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La rencontre s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e en pr\u00e9sence de Mme Marie-Chantal Uwanyiligira, Directrice de la Banque Mondiale pour la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, le B\u00e9nin, la Guin\u00e9e et le Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a permis de faire le point sur l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019avancement de la coop\u00e9ration entre le Togo et le Groupe de la Banque Mondiale, en particulier sur le portefeuille des projets en cours et les nouvelles initiatives en phase de finalisation ou de d\u00e9marrage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parmi celles-ci figure notamment le Programme de Modernisation de l\u2019Agriculture Togolaise (ProMAT), \u00e0 travers lequel le Togo s\u2019affirme comme un leader r\u00e9gional en mati\u00e8re de transformation agricole durable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mme Sandra Johnson a expliqu\u00e9 que l\u2019ensemble de ces programmes s\u2019inscrit sous le leadership \u00e9clair\u00e9 du Pr\u00e9sident du Conseil Faure Gnassingb\u00e9, qui en a fait une priorit\u00e9 strat\u00e9gique de d\u00e9veloppement pour le Togo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Sa vision place l\u2019investissement dans les secteurs productifs, la modernisation agricole et la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois au c\u0153ur de la dynamique de croissance inclusive port\u00e9e par notre pays \u00bb, a-t-elle indiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Les premi\u00e8res s\u00e9ances de travail, marqu\u00e9es par des \u00e9changes particuli\u00e8rement constructifs, ont \u00e9galement permis de finaliser les discussions relatives au programme d\u2019appui budg\u00e9taire, en lien avec la promotion de l\u2019emploi et la consolidation des r\u00e9formes \u00e9conomiques \u00bb, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 Sandra Johnson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces rencontres confirment selon elle, la solidit\u00e9 du partenariat strat\u00e9gique entre le Togo et le Groupe de la Banque Mondiale, fond\u00e9 sur la confiance, la performance et une ambition commune de d\u00e9veloppement durable et \u00e9quitable au service des populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
